Burrata Pizza
Burrata Pizza is a type of pizza that features burrata cheese as the main ingredient. Burrata cheese is a fresh Italian cheese made from mozzarella and cream. It has a soft, creamy texture and a mild, buttery flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 pound pizza dough
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 8 ounces burrata cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Step 1: Preheat Pizzello oven to 450℉.
Step 2: Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until it's about 1/4 inch thick. Transfer the dough to the pizza stone.
Step 3: Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving about 1/2 inch around the edges. Tear the burrata cheese into small pieces and distribute them over the tomato sauce. Drizzle the olive oil over the pizza. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4: Bake the pizza for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
Step 5: Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve hot.
